Wear one a day for a week, in real weather. An afternoon in Lahore in June tells you more about a fragrance than any description can, including ours — how long it lasts, whether it turns sweet on your skin, whether you still like it at six in the evening.

Then buy the bottle you actually want, rather than the one that sounded best.
