Fragrance notes
Kesem d’Or is an amber spicy floral fragrance featuring nutmeg, clove, and lemon, blended with creamy milk accord, rose, and davana, and finished with amber, patchouli, frankincense, and labdanum. Warm, luxurious, and long-lasting, it is perfect for sophisticated occasions.
Delivery
Orders are checked, packed and handed to the courier within 1–2 working days. Delivery then usually takes 2–5 working days, anywhere in Pakistan. You get a tracking number by SMS and email as soon as the courier scans your parcel.
Returns
Every bottle ships with a matching tester, so you can wear the scent for a few days before you break the seal on the bottle itself. If it is not for you, the unopened bottle can go back within 15 days. Still deciding between several? A tester box is five fragrances from Rs. 1,500.
How to make it last
Spray on pulse points — wrists, neck, inner elbows — onto skin that is still slightly damp after a shower. Do not rub: it breaks the top notes. A spray on fabric will outlast a spray on skin.
Kesem d’Or opens on nutmeg, clove and lemon, moves through a creamy milk accord with rose and davana, and finishes on amber, patchouli, frankincense and labdanum.
It is an extrait de parfum — 35–40% perfume oil, against the 15% or so of an eau de parfum. Frankincense and labdanum are resins, which are about the slowest-evaporating materials in perfumery.
How it wears
Spice first, then something genuinely unusual — the milk accord gives the middle a soft, almost edible texture that sits oddly and well against the clove. The resins underneath make the last few hours warm and slightly smoky, closer to incense than to a sweet amber.
Who it suits
Weddings, winter, and anyone who has smelled a lot of fragrances and is bored. This is the most distinctive thing on the men’s shelf and the least likely to smell like anything your friends are wearing.
It is also the least versatile — in July, at midday, it will be too much. Istotny is the summer bottle.
