Fresh fruity floral fragrance with bergamot, pear, and green apple, blended with jasmine, rose

Wedding season is back. Between now and February most of us will sit through a mehndi, a barat and a walima, often for more than one couple, and each one asks the same quiet question at the mirror: what do I wear that will still be there after dinner is served at midnight, without being the person nobody wants to sit next to?
We sell perfume, so read this with that in mind. The advice holds whichever bottle you pick up, including someone else’s.
A Pakistani wedding function is not a two-hour dinner. You arrive at nine, wait for the baraat, sit through photos, eat late and get home after midnight. That is five or six hours of wear in a hall full of people, lights and heaters, or an outdoor mehndi where the evening cools and the dhol keeps everyone moving.
Most people respond by spraying more. That is the wrong fix. A lighter perfume sprayed ten times is loud for the first hour and gone by the time the food arrives. What lasts is concentration and base notes: oils that evaporate slowly (oud, amber, leather, musk, vanilla, resins) at a strength high enough that four sprays carry you through the night.
So the useful question for wedding season is not “which perfume is strongest?” It is “which perfume can I wear lightly and still smell at the end?” That is where an extrait de parfum earns its place: ours are blended at 35–40% perfume oil, against roughly 15–20% for a typical eau de parfum. More oil means you can use fewer sprays and still get the hours.
The three main events have different moods, and the scent can follow the clothes.
Colour, dancing, often outdoors or in a marquee. You want something that opens bright and settles warm. Floral-musk and fruity-amber scents work well here because they read as cheerful without being sharp. Heavy oud can feel like too much at a mehndi, especially if you are dancing.
The most dressed-up evening, usually the longest. This is where oud, saffron, leather and amber belong. They suit sherwanis and heavy formals, and they are the families of notes that last longest on skin and fabric.
Often a dinner with elders, family photos and a calmer room. A rose-amber or soft woody floral sits well here: present, but not competing with the food or the person next to you.
Every scent below is one of ours, sold in two sizes: the Scent Buddy (40 ml) and the Grande (100 ml). Prices are from our live product pages on the date above and include current sale prices.

If you only buy one bottle for the whole season, make it a barat-weight scent and wear it lighter at the mehndi. Two sprays of Oud de Pura at a mehndi is pleasant; eight is a cloud.
Wedding season is also when people buy perfume as gifts, so price matters. Bottle prices are hard to compare across sizes, so the fairest measure is price per millilitre. Figures below were taken from each brand’s own site (or the source linked) on 28 October 2026.

Where others win, plainly:
We have a longer guide on how to apply perfume so it lasts in Pakistan’s heat; most of it applies to a crowded shaadi hall too.
Perfume is a popular wedding gift, and also an easy one to get wrong. A few honest rules:
The worst time to discover a perfume doesn’t suit you is 11pm at the barat. Wear it on an ordinary day first and see how it changes on your skin after a few hours.
That is what our Build Your Own Tester Box is for: five perfumes of your choice for Rs 1,500. If you want a ready-made selection, the Mint, Oud & Ginger Tester Box includes Oud de Pura and Safaros among its five, also at Rs 1,500.
We are a Pakistani perfume brand and every bottle we sell is an extrait de parfum blended at 35–40% oil. Most of our 40 ml bottles cost Rs 2,199–2,999 and most 100 ml bottles Rs 4,399–6,399, with Nobel Quest as the expensive outlier. Our pitch for wedding season is simple: enough oil that a few sprays last the whole function, at a price where you can own a mehndi scent and a barat scent without spending what one designer bottle costs.
We are not the cheapest way to own an extrait, and we can’t match a walk-in shop or a ready-wrapped gift set. If either of those matters most to you, one of the brands above may suit you better. If staying power per rupee is the priority, we think we are worth a test. For a wider look at longevity, see our guide to long-lasting perfumes built for Pakistan’s heat.
For an extrait, four to five in total: two on the neck and chest, one on each wrist, and one on fabric. With a lighter eau de toilette you may need more, but more sprays rarely means more hours; it mainly means a louder first hour.
A high-concentration perfume built on oud, amber, leather or musk should carry you through an evening function on skin, and longer on fabric. Dry skin loses scent faster, so moisturise first, and keep one top-up spray for before dinner.
You can, and many people do. If you own two, a lighter floral or fruity-amber scent suits the mehndi and an oud or leather scent suits the barat. The walima sits between the two.
Not for the barat, where it suits formal wear and long nights. At a mehndi with dancing it can feel heavy, so either go lighter on sprays or choose a rosier oud such as Oud de Pura over a smoky one.
Yes, if you choose a crowd-pleasing family such as rose-amber or soft woods, or give the couple a tester box so they can choose for themselves. Avoid very niche or polarising scents unless you know their taste.
Our 40 ml Scent Buddy is enough for several functions and is easy to carry. The 100 ml Grande works out cheaper per millilitre if you know you’ll keep wearing the scent after the season.
