Fresh fruity floral fragrance with bergamot, pear, and green apple, blended with jasmine, rose

Most people in Pakistan own one perfume and wear it everywhere: to the office at nine, to the market at four and to a dinner at eleven. It works, more or less. But anyone who has worn a heavy oud into a packed Lahore office in May, or a light citrus to a winter dinner where it vanished before the starters, knows that one bottle rarely suits the whole day.
We sell perfume, so take this with that in mind. What follows is how we think about day and night scents, what they cost from a few Pakistani brands we checked on 30 October 2026, and which of our own we would point you to for each, including where other brands may suit you better.
“Day perfume” and “night perfume” are not official categories. Nobody bottles a scent that stops working at sunset. The labels are shorthand for two things that change between a weekday afternoon and a Saturday night:
So a “day” scent is one that stays pleasant up close in the heat: citrus, mint, aquatic, green and clean musk notes, with moderate or close projection. A “night” scent is one that rewards cooler air and a bit of distance: oud, saffron, amber, vanilla, tonka, chocolate and white florals, often with stronger projection. That is the whole idea. Everything else is detail.
One honest caveat: longevity and projection depend on skin, climate and how much you spray. The hours below are the figures on our product pages for our extraits; treat them as a guide, not a promise.
We checked these prices on the brands’ own sites on 30 October 2026. Prices change often, so check before you buy.
| Brand and scent | Style | Size and price | Price per ml (approx.) |
|---|---|---|---|
| A small-bottle local brand, citrus extrait | Day: citrus | 15 ml Rs 1,649 / 50 ml Rs 4,249 (both sold out when checked) | Rs 110 / Rs 85 |
| A small-bottle local brand, amber-leather extrait | Night: amber, leather | 15 ml Rs 1,839 / 50 ml Rs 4,549 (50 ml sold out when checked) | Rs 123 / Rs 91 |
| A high-street chain, citrus-spicy EDP | Either: citrus-spicy | 100 ml Rs 6,900 | Rs 69 |
| A niche luxury house, woody extrait | Either: woody | 100 ml Rs 25,000 | Rs 250 |
| Scent Pûr Istotny (extrait, 35–40% oil) | Day: aquatic, woody | 40 ml Rs 2,199 / 100 ml Rs 4,799 | Rs 55 / Rs 48 |
| Scent Pûr Safaros (extrait, 35–40% oil) | Night: saffron, oud | 40 ml Rs 2,599 / 100 ml Rs 4,799 | Rs 65 / Rs 48 |
Where the others win: a small-bottle brand lets you buy 15 ml for under Rs 2,000, which is a sensible way to own both a day and a night scent without committing to two big bottles. The high-street chains are in almost every city and you can smell their perfumes in a shop before buying, which we cannot offer outside our tester box. A niche luxury house is the choice if you want a collector-style bottle and the price is not the point.
For daytime, think about who is near you. At a desk, in a car or at a family lunch, a scent that is noticed at arm’s length is plenty. Look for citrus, mint, green apple, lavender, aquatic notes and clean musk, and go easy on vanilla and oud until the sun is down.
More options sit in our casual collection.
Evenings in Pakistan, especially from November to February, are cooler, and most dinners, parties and functions happen in bigger spaces. That is where warmer, denser notes come into their own: oud, saffron, amber, tonka, vanilla, chocolate and white florals such as tuberose and jasmine.
The full list is in our party wear collection. If you are dressing for a function rather than a dinner, our wedding season guide goes event by event.
We make extrait de parfum at 35–40% oil, in two sizes: 40 ml (“Scent Buddy”) and 100 ml (“Grande”). Most of our 40 ml bottles cost Rs 2,199 to Rs 2,799 and most 100 ml bottles Rs 4,599 to Rs 5,599. That works out to less per ml than the other extraits in the table above.
Where we are weaker: we sell online, so unlike the high-street chains you cannot walk into a shop and smell us first. Our smallest bottle is 40 ml, so a 15 ml bottle from a small-bottle brand is cheaper if you only want a taste of something. And we are a young brand without the reputation of the established niche houses.
Our answer to the “can’t smell it first” problem is the build-your-own tester box: five perfumes of your choice for Rs 1,500. A sensible split is two or three day scents and two night scents, worn for a week before you buy a full bottle.
Day perfumes are usually fresher (citrus, mint, aquatic, green, clean musk) with moderate or close projection, so they stay pleasant up close in the heat. Night perfumes are usually warmer and denser (oud, saffron, amber, vanilla, tonka, white florals) and project further in cooler air and bigger rooms. There is no rule; it is about heat and distance.
You can, but use less of it. One spray of a warm oud or vanilla scent can work in an air-conditioned office in winter. In summer heat, sweet and heavy notes tend to feel cloying to the people around you.
Look for extrait de parfum with oud, amber, vanilla, tonka or musk in the base. Of ours, Safaros, Iconic Man, Imortal Amor, Choco Yarra and Oud Wěidà are each listed at 10–12 hours. Your skin and the weather will change that.
For many people, yes. Choose something that starts fresh and dries down warm, such as a fruity or rose scent on a woody or amber base. If you can, a light day scent and a richer night scent will serve you better through a Pakistani year.
From the brands we checked on 30 October 2026: Rs 1,649 for 15 ml of a small-bottle brand’s citrus extrait (sold out when we checked), Rs 2,199 to Rs 2,799 for 40 ml of the Scent Pûr extraits above, Rs 6,900 for 100 ml of a high-street chain’s EDP and Rs 25,000 for 100 ml of a niche luxury extrait.
Our tester box gives you five perfumes of your choice for Rs 1,500. Wear each one on a working day and on an evening out before picking a full bottle.
