Fragrance notes
Magnes is a woody musk vanilla fragrance featuring apple, lemon, neroli, and bergamot, blended with rose, teakwood, and patchouli, and finished with vanilla and musk. Fresh, elegant, and long-lasting, it is perfect for every occasion.
Delivery
Orders are checked, packed and handed to the courier within 1–2 working days. Delivery then usually takes 2–5 working days, anywhere in Pakistan. You get a tracking number by SMS and email as soon as the courier scans your parcel.
Returns
Every bottle ships with a matching tester, so you can wear the scent for a few days before you break the seal on the bottle itself. If it is not for you, the unopened bottle can go back within 15 days. Still deciding between several? A tester box is five fragrances from Rs. 1,500.
How to make it last
Spray on pulse points — wrists, neck, inner elbows — onto skin that is still slightly damp after a shower. Do not rub: it breaks the top notes. A spray on fabric will outlast a spray on skin.
Magnes opens on apple, lemon, neroli and bergamot, moves through rose, teakwood and patchouli, and finishes on vanilla and musk.
It is an extrait de parfum — 35–40% perfume oil, against the 15% or so of an eau de parfum. Vanilla is a heavy, slow material to begin with; at this concentration it lasts well into the next morning on a shirt collar.
How it wears
Crisp for twenty minutes, then steadily warmer. The apple and neroli opening is clean rather than sweet, and the vanilla does not arrive properly until the fragrance has been on skin an hour or so. By evening it is soft, warm and quite close.
Who it suits
The one to buy if you want something nobody will object to and several people will ask about. It is the friendliest fragrance in the men’s range and the one we would hand someone who has never worn perfume before.
If you want it drier and more serious, lupo has no sweetness in it at all. If you want more vanilla rather than less, Choco Yarra.
