Women’s Perfume in Pakistan: What Lasts and What It Costs

8 min read

Douce Âme extrait de parfum, 100 ml and 40 ml bottles with their round Scent Pûr boxes

Most women in Pakistan who buy perfume online are buying blind. You read “floral” or “long-lasting”, look at a nice bottle, and hope it smells as good on you in a Lahore summer as it did in someone’s Instagram reel. Sometimes it does. Often it fades by lunch or turns sharp in the heat.

We sell perfume, so take this with that in mind. But choosing a women’s fragrance here comes down to three things that most “top 10” lists skip: how concentrated it is, what the base notes are, and what you actually pay per millilitre. Get those right and the rest is personal taste.

The key insight: the base notes decide whether it lasts

Every perfume is built in layers. The top notes (citrus, bergamot, fruit) are what you smell in the first ten minutes. The heart (rose, jasmine, peony, tuberose) is what most “women’s perfume” descriptions talk about. But the base notes — musk, sandalwood, amber, vanilla, tonka, cedar — are what is still on your skin in the evening.

That matters more here than in a cool climate. Heat and humidity push the light top notes off your skin quickly. A perfume that is all citrus and soft florals with a thin base will feel lovely at 9am and be gone by noon. A floral sitting on musk, amber or sandalwood holds on much longer.

So when you read a note list, read it backwards. Start with the base. If you want something that lasts through a work day or a long evening, look for musk, amber, sandalwood, vanilla or tonka at the end of the list. If the base is just “light woods” or isn’t listed at all, expect it to be short-lived.

The second factor is concentration. Most perfumes sold in Pakistan are eau de parfum (EDP), usually around 15–20% perfume oil. Extrait de parfum is stronger. Ours are extraits at 35–40% oil, which is why we tell people to use fewer sprays, not more. We’ve written a fuller explanation in what extrait de parfum is and what it costs.

What women’s perfume costs in Pakistan: a comparison

Prices below were checked on the brands’ own websites on 3 November 2026. We’ve only included figures we could verify, and we’ve listed the bottle size every time, because comparing a 50 ml price with a 100 ml price tells you nothing.

A few honest points about that table. The other two are bigger, better-known names, and the high-street chain in particular has shops where you can walk in and smell before you buy, which you can’t do with us. The luxury house also has a far wider range of home fragrance if you want candles and diffusers from the same brand. And a price table says nothing about whether you’ll like the scent. It only tells you what you’re paying.

How to choose: practical guidance

1. Decide when you’ll wear it most

One perfume rarely does everything well. Think about where you’ll wear it most often and buy for that first.

  • Office and daytime: lighter florals, tea, citrus and clean musk. You want something people notice when they’re close, not across a meeting room. Our guide to office perfume goes into this in more detail.
  • Evenings, dawats and weddings: richer white florals (tuberose, jasmine), saffron, vanilla, amber. These project more and hold up under heavy clothes and long nights.
  • Everyday, all-season: a soft musky floral sits in the middle and works almost anywhere.

2. Lighter options for daytime and work

  • Calmera — mandarin, white pepper and Earl Grey tea, then freesia, jasmine and orange blossom, on iris, sandalwood and musk. Calm and tidy; a good first extrait. Rs 2,199 for 40 ml, Rs 4,399 for 100 ml.
  • Flor Clara — pomegranate and yuzu, peony, magnolia and lotus, on musk, mahogany and amber. Light and pretty. Rs 2,599 for 40 ml, Rs 4,600 for 100 ml.
  • Vackra — lemon, bergamot and coriander over sandalwood, oakmoss and cedar. Fresh rather than floral, and very easy in the heat. Rs 2,199 for 40 ml, Rs 4,899 for 100 ml.
  • Young Radiance — peony, citrus and bergamot, osmanthus, rose and tuberose, on sandalwood, white musk and vanilla. It is one of our pricier perfumes at Rs 4,599 for 40 ml and Rs 10,299 for 100 ml, so try it before committing to the big bottle.
  • La Caché — a soft musky floral with jasmine, orange blossom and violet on musk, amber and cedarwood. The everyday all-rounder. Rs 2,799 for 40 ml, Rs 4,999 for 100 ml.

3. Richer options for evenings and occasions

  • Imortal Amor — Sicilian orange and almond, tuberose, jasmine and saffron, on tonka, vanilla and amberwood. Sweet, warm and made for a wedding night. Rs 2,799 for 40 ml, Rs 4,999 for 100 ml.
  • Vurig — bay leaf, mandarin and pink pepper, peony and lily, on vanilla, cedar and amber. Spicy-sweet. Rs 2,799 for 40 ml, Rs 4,999 for 100 ml.
  • Rosée Rosé — Sicilian lemon and pomegranate, jasmine and peony, on sandalwood, ambrox and musk. Bright at first, then soft and clinging. Rs 3,199 for 40 ml, Rs 6,399 for 100 ml.
  • Aurélis — almond, coffee and bergamot, tuberose and jasmine sambac, on tonka, cacao and vanilla. Listed as unisex, but many women pick it for winter evenings. Rs 2,599 for 40 ml, Rs 4,599 for 100 ml.
  • Encara — lavender, bergamot and rosewood, orchid and narcissus, on musk, cedarwood and white amber. Floral-woody, sits between office and evening. Rs 2,699 for 40 ml, Rs 4,999 for 100 ml.

4. Test on skin, not on paper

A perfume can smell completely different on a paper strip and on your wrist. Skin warmth and your own skin chemistry change it, and in Pakistan’s climate that difference is bigger. If you can, wear a sample for a full day before buying a full bottle. That’s exactly why we made the build-your-own tester box: you choose 5 perfumes for Rs 1,500 and wear them properly at home. If you want to know how testers work before ordering, read our tester box guide.

5. Apply it where it lasts

Spray on pulse points and on clothes rather than straight into the air. Don’t rub your wrists together. With an extrait, two or three sprays is usually enough. We’ve covered this step by step in how to apply perfume so it lasts in Pakistan’s heat.

6. Pick the bottle size you’ll actually finish

A 100 ml bottle is better value per millilitre, but only if you’ll use it within a couple of years. If you’re still finding your scent, or you like to rotate, 40 ml is the sensible size. Our 40 ml bottle is roughly 550 sprays, and the 100 ml is roughly 1,350.

Where we sit

We’re a Pakistani extrait-de-parfum brand. Every perfume we sell is 35–40% oil, sold in 40 ml and 100 ml. Most of our women’s and unisex range sits between Rs 2,199 and Rs 3,199 for 40 ml, and between Rs 4,399 and Rs 6,399 for 100 ml, with Young Radiance as the exception at the top.

What we’re good at: strong concentration for the price, honest note lists, and a cheap way to try before you commit. Where others win: we’re online-only, so you can’t walk into a shop and smell us, and we don’t have the long track record of the bigger local names. If smelling a perfume in a shop before buying matters to you, that’s a fair reason to choose them.

If you’re not sure where to start, our honest suggestion is a tester box with Calmera, La Caché, Imortal Amor, Rosée Rosé and Vackra. That covers office, everyday, evening and heat in one go, for Rs 1,500.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a good women’s perfume cost in Pakistan?

From the brand websites we checked on 3 November 2026, 100 ml eau de parfum from established local brands sits around Rs 6,400 to Rs 7,800. Our 100 ml extraits range from Rs 4,399 to Rs 6,399 for most of the women’s range, and a 40 ml bottle starts at Rs 2,199.

Which women’s perfume lasts longest in Pakistan’s heat?

Look at concentration and base notes. Extraits last longer than eau de parfum, and perfumes with musk, amber, sandalwood or vanilla in the base hold on far better than light citrus scents. Skin type matters too: dry skin loses fragrance faster, so moisturise first.

What is a good women’s perfume for the office?

Something soft that stays close to the skin: tea, light florals, citrus or clean musk. Calmera, Flor Clara and Vackra are our lighter picks, and two sprays is plenty.

What should I wear to a wedding or dawat?

Richer white florals and warm bases: tuberose, jasmine, saffron, vanilla and amber. Imortal Amor and Vurig are built for evenings.

Is 40 ml or 100 ml better value?

Per millilitre, 100 ml is cheaper. But if you’re not sure you’ll love it, or you like variety, 40 ml is the safer buy.

Can I try before buying a full bottle?

Yes. Our tester box lets you pick 5 perfumes for Rs 1,500, so you can wear them for a full day before deciding.
